Note: Thomas Master's Iter Boreale was a prose and verse account of a journey from Montgomeryshire to Lincolnshire, where he was to be inducted into the living of East Wickham. Written in the form of a letter to his father, dated September 1637, it was edited by his companion on this journey, George Ent, and posthumously published in 1675. ODNB.
