Note: The Salusbury pedigree book was kept at Wynnstay (but destroyed by a fire there in 1858). Transcripts from it by Angharad Llwyd are found in NLW 1598D; the best preserved copy is in Wynnstay 143-4. Daniel Huws, 'Repertory of Welsh Manuscripts and Scribes' (forthcoming), AB.NLW, p. 70. Pennant noted that it was in the possession of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, 'who favored me with the loan of it', and described it as 'contain[ing] the pedigrees of all the gentlemen in North Wales, and of some adjacent counties, with their arms finely illuminated'. A tour in Wales 1770 [1773] (1778), I, pp. 451–2.
