Notes: Margaret (née Roberts), daughter of a Shropshire clergyman, was the god-daughter of Margaret, wife of Roger Wynne of Tower, Flintshire. She took the name Roberts Wynne on inheriting Tower c. 1780. On 10 November 1783 she married Hope Eyton, who, in his turn, added 'Wynne' to his name, as the new owner of Tower.
